Rules

General Rules:

  1. Every student must carry his / her Identity Card while entering the campus and identify himself with the help of the Identity Card whenever asked for.
  2. Students are advised to come to the college on time to attend classes. As per university rules 75% attendance is mandatory to appear in the University examination.
  3. No guests / visitors shall be allowed with the students in the class/lab/ library.
  4. No student shall use mobile phones in the classrooms / labs/examination hall / Practical examination/Library and during events of the Institution. Mobile phones of students, not adhering to this rule, will be confiscated by college authorities.
  5. Students shall not indulge in any kind of misconduct/antisocial activities/ act of indiscipline, within or outside the premises of the college. If they do so, they will be subject to strict disciplinary action or may face expulsion from the college.
  6. All notices shall be displayed on the notice board and /or on the website and it shall be presumed that the students have knowledge of the same. Any negligence to read the notices and the loss thereafter will not be the responsibility of the college.
  7. No student shall be permitted to take the College / University examination unless he /she has paid all his / her dues to the college.
  8. Any student found guilty of defacing or damaging property like doors, windows, furniture, equipment, fixtures, books, buildings, vehicles, etc. of the college shall be liable for penal action and expulsion from the college.
  9. Students are prohibited from organizing any meeting or entertainment at College, or collecting money for any purpose within or outside the College, without the prior permission of the Principal, in writing.
  10. Students going to other Colleges or Institutions, and indulging in acts of indiscipline such as organizing demonstrations and strikes, would be liable for punishment.
  11. Consuming drugs, alcohol or any other activity in Campus which is construed as a societal offence at large is strictly prohibited in the college.
  12. Ragging is prohibited. Any student found indulging in ragging in any form within or outside the college shall be immediately expelled from the college and necessary disciplinary action will be taken as per orders of Honorable Supreme Court of India.
  13. The Parents are expected to see that the conduct of their Wards should be at par with acceptable social norms of the Indian Culture and in no way tarnish the name and image of the College.
  14. College authorities, under no circumstances shall accept any liability of an accident in which a student is involved during his/her stay in the college or on educational tour/visit. Students are therefore, cautioned to conduct themselves in a careful manner wherever they are.
  15. The College reserves the right to delete, to add or amend the rules & regulations given above as and when deems necessary

Library Rules:

  1. The Library can be utilized by the regular students only on working days during the college timing.
  2. Personal belongings are not allowed inside the Library.
  3. Only two books can be issued to the students at a time  against the College ID ­Card.
  4. If a book is not returned to the Library within the 15 days, an overdue charge of 5 rupees per volume per day is charged.
  5. Books and materials kept in the Reserve Section like Reference books, text books, unbound issues of journals, periodicals, newspapers and technical reports are not issued out of the library to anybody.
  6. An issued book will not be renewed . If the book is not in demand by any other student, it can be renewed for a maximum period of 7  days  with the permission of the Head Librarian.
  7. Students can reserve a book by fulfilling all the required formalities.
  8. All the students will have to get no dues by the college library before the university exams. Otherwise they will be restricted from the exams.  
  9. Books are to be handled very carefully. If a book is damaged or  lost by the student, he/she shall replace the book (same title, author and edition) or shall pay the cost of the book with extra 100/- rupees as fine.
