Faculty of Science

M.Sc. programmmes are successfully running in Chemistry & Physics. Students essentially also receive training of soft skill programmes for successes at the work place.

Offered Courses in Science Faculty for Post Graduates are Pass Courses in -

M.Sc. Chemistry (Organic)

Chemistry - Chemistry often is called “the central science” because all investigations of matter at the molecular level depend on the theories and methodologies of Chemistry. Chemistry may be regarded as the fundamental component of the physical, biological and earth sciences. There have been innumerable inventions in Chemistry. One of the greatest inventions is the medicines.

Organic Chemistry- Organic chemistry is the study of the structure, properties, composition, reactions, and preparation of carbon-containing compounds, hydrocarbons and derivatives including hydrogen (most compounds contain at least one C-H bond), N, O, halogens, P, Si, and S. The range of application of organic compounds is enormous and also includes different areas of pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, food, explosives, paints, cosmetics etc.

M.Sc. Physics (Microwave)

Physics - Physics explores and identifies the basic principles governing the structure and behavior of matter, the generation and transfer of energy, and the interaction of matter and energy. It studies systems ranging in size from the smallest elementary particles to the entire universe.

Microwave - Microwave technology is extensively used for point-to-point telecommunications (i.e. non-broadcast uses). Microwaves are especially suitable for this use since they are more easily focused into narrower beams than radio waves. Microwaves are used in spacecraft communication, TV and telephone communications are transmitted long distances by microwaves between ground stations, communications satellites, microwave  ovens  and in radar technology.
